Why this list has no star ratings

Most "best HVAC in McKinney" pages lead with star ratings and review counts. We used to as well. When we went back and checked those numbers against the businesses' actual Google profiles, every single one we could verify was wrong — some understated by a factor of eighteen, others overstated by nearly four.

Publishing a wrong rating for a real local business is worse than publishing none, so we removed them rather than repeat numbers we could not stand behind.
