Agreement Overview

These terms govern your use of Jupitair HVAC services in North Texas. By using our services, you agree to these terms. We're committed to providing professional, reliable HVAC service while protecting both your interests and ours.

Service Agreement

Service Scope

Jupitair HVAC provides professional heating, ventilation, and air conditioning services including:

  • Repair Services: Diagnostic, repair, and replacement of HVAC components
  • Installation Services: Complete system installation and setup
  • Maintenance Services: Preventive maintenance and tune-ups
  • Emergency Services: 24/7 emergency HVAC response
  • Commercial Services: Business HVAC solutions and maintenance

Service Areas

We provide services throughout North Texas, including:

  • Frisco, Plano, McKinney, Allen
  • Prosper, The Colony, Little Elm, Addison
  • Surrounding areas within our service radius

Scheduling and Service Calls

Appointments

  • Scheduling: Service appointments are scheduled based on availability
  • Service Windows: We provide estimated arrival times, not exact times
  • Access Required: Customer must provide access to HVAC equipment
  • Cancellation: 24-hour notice required for cancellations

Emergency Services

  • Availability: 24/7 emergency response available
  • Emergency Fee: $250 after-hours surcharge applies
  • Response Time: Target 2-hour response for emergencies
  • Emergency Definition: Situations requiring immediate attention for health, safety, or property protection

Pricing and Payment

Service Charges

  • Diagnostic Fee: $89 service call fee (waived if repair is completed)
  • Labor Rates: Competitive hourly rates during business hours
  • Parts: Parts charged at fair market value plus markup
  • Written Estimates: All work over $500 requires written approval

Payment Terms

  • Payment Due: Payment due upon completion of service
  • Accepted Forms: Cash, check, credit cards, approved credit
  • Late Payments: 1.5% monthly service charge on overdue accounts
  • Collection Costs: Customer responsible for collection costs if account becomes delinquent

Warranties and Guarantees

Service Warranty

  • Labor Warranty: 90 days on all repair labor
  • Parts Warranty: Manufacturer warranty on all parts
  • Installation Warranty: 1-year labor warranty on new installations
  • Warranty Service: Free return service during warranty period

Warranty Limitations

  • Warranty void if system is serviced by unauthorized personnel
  • Normal wear and tear not covered under warranty
  • Damage from customer negligence or misuse not covered
  • Warranty limited to original customer and property

Customer Responsibilities

Property Access and Safety

  • Safe Access: Provide safe access to HVAC equipment
  • Clear Work Area: Keep equipment areas clear of obstructions
  • Power Supply: Ensure adequate electrical supply for equipment
  • Property Condition: Maintain reasonable access paths and lighting

Maintenance Requirements

  • Filter Changes: Regular filter changes per manufacturer recommendations
  • System Care: Proper operation and basic care of HVAC systems
  • Preventive Maintenance: Regular professional maintenance recommended

Liability and Insurance

Our Insurance Coverage

  • General Liability: $2 million general liability insurance
  • Workers' Compensation: Full workers' compensation coverage
  • Licensing: Fully licensed HVAC contractors
  • Bonding: Bonded for your protection

Limitation of Liability

  • Liability limited to the cost of services provided
  • Not responsible for consequential or indirect damages
  • Customer responsible for securing valuables during service
  • Pre-existing conditions noted before work begins

Dispute Resolution

Problem Resolution Process

  1. Direct Communication: Contact us immediately with any concerns
  2. Management Review: Escalation to management for resolution
  3. Mediation: Good faith mediation if direct resolution fails
  4. Legal Jurisdiction: Texas state courts govern any legal proceedings
